My name is Alina Fleischmann, and I'm Gunn MUN’s Secretary-General (SG). This year I will serve as the Head Chair for UNCLOS. This will be my 14th MUN conference and, sadly, my last time chairing at GMUNC after four years. Over the years, MUN has become a huge part of my life. From conferences in New York to Hawaii, and now serving as my Club’s Secretary General, I've had the opportunity to grow as a delegate and leader while meeting some truly amazing people. More than anything, MUN has given me a community that has become like a second family. Outside of MUN, I’m passionate about science, especially neurodevelopment, neurodiversity, and mental health advocacy. When I’m not working on clinical research, I’m usually reading, baking, or spending time with my two cats, Mia and Max. It’s a privilege to chair again this year, and I’m looking forward to fostering a welcoming, thoughtful, and engaging committee. Whether this is your first conference or your tenth, I hope you leave having gained something new, challenged yourself, and learned to stay passionately curious.
